United Welding Supplies was formed in 1985 in Hitchin Hertfordshire (UK) where the head office remains today. Expansion over the years has lead to further branches, Norwich in 1989 and Peterborough in 1996.

Today, United Welding Supplies Ltd employs over 30 people consisting of sales staff, service engineers, stores/distribution and admin/account staff. Regarded as one of the top welding distributors in the UK, the company has utilised sales staff with sound engineering backgrounds to train, use and promote allied products which include all types of power tools, abrasives, PPE and safety equipment. These additional items now account for 45% of our multi million pound turnover.
