Details

The Model 188-GGGB torch-type flashback arrestor is designed for use with oxygen or fuel gases depending on model 188GGGBL (Fuel) or 188GGGBR (Oxygen) . It helps prevent burnbacks using a regulated thermal cut-off valve. This spring-loaded valve is held open by a soldered element. If a flashback or burnback causes excessive temperatures within the safety device, the valve closes automatically, cutting off the gas flow to stop the burnback.
